Squad 41
Squad 41 is our newest apparatus, delivered to us in October 2024. This truck was manufactured by Alexis Fire Equipment Co in Alexis, IL and was built on a Freightliner chassis. It has a Hale DSD 1500 GPM pump and carries 650 gallons of water. Squad 41 is the primary response unit for our full time staff and is set up to respond to almost any type of call. Along with all necessary firefighting tools, it is equipped with a full set of Genesis extrication tools along with stabilization struts, and required EMS equipment for Basic Life Support response.
Ladder 44
Ladder 44 is a 2003 American LaFrance/LTI quint. It has a 1500 GPM pump with a 500 gallon water tank. This truck carries a full assortment of ground ladders along with it’s 75′ aerial ladder and is a licensed Basic Life Support vehicle.
Engine 45
Engine 45 is a 2022 Spartan / Alexis rescue pumper. It has a Hale DSD 1500 GPM pump along with a 1000 gallon water tank. Engine 45 carries all necessary firefighting tools along with some basic extrication and cold water rescue equipment. This truck is also licensed as a Basic Life Support vehicle.
Brush 46
Brush 46 is a 2015 Ford F-350 with 200 gallons of water and 8 gallons of foam. It has two 100′ hose reels along with other equipment used to fight brush and grass fires.
Tender 47
Tender 47 was built for us using a Freightliner chassis obtained from the Department of Defense. This truck has a 1250 GPM pump and carries 2500 gallons of water. It carries a fold-up portable water tank, similar to a pool, that can be deployed and used to supply water for fires in rural areas. On the rear of the truck, there is a Newton Quick Dump that can empty the on-board tank into the portable tank in about 3 minutes.
Rescue 48
Rescue 48 is a 2015 HME Mini EVO built on a Ford F-550 chassis. It carries 400 gallons of water and has a 1500 GPM pump with an on-board foam system. Rescue 48 is set up for firefighting and Basic Life Support operations.
