Byron Township Rental Inspection Fees: - 2 Year Registration and Permit (Single Unit): $100 - 2 Year Registration and Permit (Multi Unit): $100, plus $25 for each additional unit *For apartment buildings/developments with more than 50 dwelling units, the following schedule may be applied: 1. In projects with 50 units or less, 100% of the units will be inspected. 2. In projects larger than 50 units, a random sample of 25% may be inspected. 3. If fire/life safety violations are found in 25% of the random sample, then 50% of the units may be inspected. - Note: Additional fees may be assessed if re-inspections are required due to violations or issues found during the initial inspection.
